Hayfever is a reaction of the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose & air passages to seasonal pollens, dust, feathers, animal hair etc. Symptoms include itchy eyes, nose & throat, a clear watery discharge from the eyes & nose, frequent sneezing and nervous irritability.

Hayfever is most noticeable during Spring & Summer but can also be triggered by alcohol consumption or ingestion of sugary foods. Hay fever is the result of an overly enthusiastic immune system response.

The immune system needs to be supported and calmed, the mucous membranes need to be repaired, the liver needs to be supported and the nervous system needs to be calmed and nourished.

My herbal mix includes Chamomile, Elderflower, Echinacea, Fenugreek, Horseradish, Organic Nettles, St Marys Thistle, Vervain, Alfalfa, Maritime Pine Bark.

Dosage: 20- 30 drops twice a day
